Angus Fleming
From advising some of the largest companies on the FTSE 100 and S&P 500 to founding his own consultancy in London: why Angus believes every ambitious business deserves board-level advice.
For years, Angus Fleming worked as a consultant to large, listed companies on both sides of the Atlantic. He sat in boardrooms where decisions affected thousands of people and billions in value, helping leadership teams cut through complexity and focus on what would genuinely move the business forward.
Along the way, he noticed something. The thinking that made the biggest difference to those companies was rarely complicated. It was clear, honest and grounded in the numbers. Yet that kind of advice was often out of reach for the growing businesses that needed it most.
“The questions a growing business faces are no less important than those of a global corporation. They just come with less margin for error.”
Founding Fleming
In 2019, Angus founded Fleming Business Consultancy in London to change that. The idea was simple: bring the rigour, independence and strategic perspective of top-tier consulting to ambitious companies, without the layers, overheads and junior teams that often come with a large firm.
Clients work directly with Angus. He takes on a limited number of engagements at a time, so each one gets senior attention from the first conversation to the final recommendation.
A global outlook
While the consultancy is based in London, its clients are not. Angus works with founders, CEOs and boards across the UK, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia, arranging calls and workshops to suit their time zones and travelling where an engagement calls for it.
How he works
Every engagement starts with listening. Angus spends time understanding the business, its people and its numbers before making any recommendation. The advice that follows is direct, practical and designed to be acted on, not filed away.
